Tomme de Savoie Fermiere Lait Cru IGP – Under its well-flowered rind, we discover a perforated and slightly rubbery dough, a real color chart of aromas: the younger the tomme, the smoother its taste, the more refined it is, the more distinctive, powerful and rustic its taste.
This tomme is the oldest cheese from Savoie. The milk comes almost exclusively from cows of local breeds: Tarine, Abondance and Montbéliarde. The processing of the milk and the ripening of the cheese are then carried out strictly in Savoie and Haute-Savoie. As such, it benefits from the Protected Geographical Indication label (IGP).
