Recipe: Cheese savory cake

Why don’t you prepare a cheese savory cake for this weekend? Stuffed with Blue Cheese and smoked Bacon. Enjoy for L’Apéro and even for breakfast. Check out this easy & quick-to-make recipe.

Ingredients

For 6 persons:

  • 350 g of Bleu du Vercors
  • 5 eggs
  • 180 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 20 cl of oil
  • 25 cl of milk
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • 1 thick slice of diced ham (or 200 g smoked bacon)
  • fresh ground pepper

Preparation

Mix the flour and yeast. Beat with a whisk with the eggs, the oil and then the milk to obtain a smooth paste. Add Salt and pepper. Stir in the Vercors Blue cheese and bacon (or ham).
Pour into a buttered cake mold. Bake at 180° celsius for about one hour.
Let it cool down and unmold it on a serving plate.

Serve hot or cold, It goes well with a little salad and glass of white wine!
